Born for those who don't want to work too much including photos on his Joomla! website, component Ozio Gallery native for version 1.5 is ready for the first phase of testing, then by BETA.
Released under GPL is completely open source and free, uses other Open Source software to display images with animations in Flash and implements the features of www.Flickr.com from where the component can easily upload photos.

Download

Once installed the component, it'ìs necessary:
-- To upload some JPG images in the folder images/oziogallery of your Joomla 1.5 site
-- To create a new menu item connected to the component Ozio Gallery

The recommended size of the images is 640 px

It's also possible to access the settings of the component to change the graphics and method of displaying photos. To access the settings select Ozio Gallery in the list of components installed and press the button "Settings".

Using images from www.flickr.com
For those who don't want to upload JPG files on their site, they can turn on "Use images from Flickr" and introduce some parameters that will allow the component to search and display photos picking up directly from the site Flickr.com

By displaying an image is visible in the lower right corner an arrow that rotates the image and displays information on the back. In the case of files in the folder images/oziogallery it displays the file name, while if image are taken from Flickr.com shows information and the link to the page of photos.

There are in this first version 3 Skins, the main one called "Tilt" will allow to display photos in the folder images/oziogallery and from Flickr.com, while other skins "Flickr Slideshow" and "Flickr Photos" let only display photos from Flickr.com and not photos in the folder images/oziogallery

A user ID Flickr to perform tests is: 26100973@N05
